North Star, in partnership with Adderstone Living and Stockton Council is delighted to announce the successful completion of 10 high quality houses for rent in Thornaby.
These two bedroomed houses have been eagerly awaited following the closing down of all our sites during the Covid -19 outbreak. As soon as we were able, Adderstone Living completed the contract and ensured that these 10 new homes are an attractive replacement for what was a derelict piece of land situated on this prominent road frontage.
Demand for the new houses was substantial and they were allocated to a mixture of households, mostly from the local area. Feedback has been very positive from the people who are just in the process of moving into their new homes.

The £1.4m development cost was assisted by grant funding from the Government Agency Homes England who provided around £390k grant making the scheme deliverable and affordable.

- Modern and stylish kitchens and bathrooms
- Spacious internal layout
- Good external space with a private turfed gardenand parking.
- Energy efficient properties which exceeded Building Regulation requirements
We have ambitious plans to build at least 500 new homes by 2023 and will continue to invest in building great homes to meet local need”
