Do you have an idea for a project that will help your local community?
Are you an existing group that needs funding to support a new activity running in your local area?
Are you a community group that needs funding to help kick start a project?
Local groups and community organisations can apply for a grant of up to £2,500 to help fund projects that benefit our tenants and contribute to one or more of our following four strategic priorities:
We welcome applications from voluntary and community groups, resident associations, registered charities, schools, town and parish councils and North Star supported accommodation schemes in any of the areas North Star has properties.
Priority will be given to projects that can be delivered in the following areas:
Hartlepool (Belle Vue)
Teesdale (Evenwood and Cockfield)
Thornaby
Stockton (Town Centre)
Middlesbrough (Gresham/Newport)
East Cleveland (Carlin How and Skinningrove)
Applications closed on Sunday 2nd February. Please do check back in the future and keep an eye on our social media as we will post when the applications re-open.
*Please note:
– Who you are and an overview of your group/organisation
– Details of your project and what you hope to achieve
– How much you’re applying for, and why
– How the money will benefit the community and in particular, our tenants.
The video can be made as a group or one person speaking into the camera, Remember, our panel want to visualise your project and really understand how it will help the community. Get creative and show us the difference your project will make!
